Henry's Music Video
We began filming for Henry's music video on Wednesday the 7th of April. Henry set up the green screen in his grandparents cottage as we had enough space in there. It was more of a test shoot as none of us had done anything like this before. the first problem we came across when setting up was that the green screen didn't touch the floor. Henry's whole body needed to be in shot so this couldn't do. We decided to order another green screen and come back next week.
This is the set we began with, it cost Henry £130. It looks long enough but it was deceiving.
Henry bought another one so we could attach them together and make a longer green screen.
We went back to the cottage on Thursday the 15th with the new green screen but in comparison to the old one it was a completely different colour. This is bad because to put one backdrop on the green screen, they should be the same shade of green (this is why you need the lights to avoid shadows) this makes it easier and the picture more likely to be clear. I came up with an idea that when Jayden edits the video he could put a projection of the floor on one of the green screens (perhaps checkered) and the background on the other (perhaps a diner). For our shots on this day we used a black background an put the green screen on the floor so we didn't need to worry too much about this yet.
The Logo for the record label
So on the 30.04.21 Daisy sent me the final drafts for the logo. They were all really great but they each had a background so I had to think of a way around that. I downloaded an app on my phone called "Background Eraser: superimpose". I took the photo that Daisy sent me and completely erased the background to make it easy for me to create a logo:

Making time for everything
A problem that I have found come up is making time for all my seperate parts of the project. I always have a lot going on as I work 4 days a week so couldn't always make time for all my different things going on in the project. Filming for Henry's music video took place on many days that I couldn't make because I was working so I couldn't help out there. LayZ JET also wanted me to create a poster for their gig but I was working over the weekend that they sent the picture over so I couldn't make time for it.
