The song comes under the genre 'dream pop' and I can see why. the keyboard in this song is very dreamy paired with his floaty voice. It's a beautiful love song. I love the way he layers his voice in the chorus to make it sound etherial, it's a simple song that is a little repetitive but I like that; he tells them simply "what would I do without someone like you'. It's not too technical but neither is what he's saying. It has indie vibes and reminds me a bit of Mac DeMarco at the beginning. I love it and it makes me smile.
