Decorations
Our theme is 'jungle' so we are going to be decorating the place accordingly. This photo is our inspiration:
VINES (DIY)
Green tablecloths will be needed for the ceiling and the walls. Getting from Amazon
FLOWERS (DIY)
Coloured tissue paper is needed to make flowers
Getting from the college art shop (£5)
We have to make sure all the fabric is fire retardant because this can be a health and safety hazard and most venues have to make sure that anything strewn over speakers and hanging from the ceiling is safe. Tissue paper may be a hazard.
Tutorial I'm following
In the end, Ellie and I used plastic tablecloths as they were cheaper for more. They looked very effective and we got compliments on how good the place lookedThe tutorial was very easy to figure out and this is the process of me making the vines:

Result
To make the paper flowers we used a tutorial on youtube which involved multicoloured tissue paper and wire. Our flowers ended up looking really good but with the green lighting it eliminated all colour of the flowers which was disappointing after all our hard work making them. This is the link to the video:
